Give it All!

"Cast all your anxiety on him
because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7

Can words keep a person going? My answer is most defintly! I found this verse awhile ago when one of my friends recommend reading 1 Peter. 1 Peter has to be one of my favorite books in the bible Peter gives us loads of advice on how to deal with the tough stuff; everything from suffering to relationships.

Most of us all have some crap going on in our lifes, it mights be parents splitting up to fighting with your friends. Sometimes life even gets crazy with after school events and chruch events. I know for me, when this happens, I need something to hold on to, something to be able to fall on to, something that remains the same.

Awhile ago, my parents split up and everything was changing. I am not one to handle change very well, like many and was really battling with Satan, the reason it was so tough was that I wasnt giving it ALL to Christ, I was holding on to it. I recieved a card from one of my friends with the verse I included at the top of the page. Read that verse carefully... It says ALL, not just some, but all of your anxieties on him. Is there anything today you are nervous or worried about? Maybe a big change in life or something even as small as a test at school, No matter how big or how small, God wants us to give it to him, Because He cares for us! Our God never changes unlike everything around us.

" In this world of chao's and changes, He will always be the same. God is faithful and never changing. You can always count on him"
